New Delhi: Air India Wednesday approached the Delhi High Court challenged the order of a judge who stopped the National Carrier’s decision to stop the pilot service, both permanently and in the contract, and direct their recovery.
Appeals appeared to hear before the judiciary of Rajiv Shakdher and Singh Talwant and have been registered for the process on August 24 on the request of Indian Air Advice.
Public lawyer Tushar Mehta, representing Air India, was submitted that the second appeal group would come to hear next week and this request was also heard with them.
Air India challenged June 1 from the single judge who also ordered the re-wage to be paid to the restored pilot.
The High Court has said that back wages, including benefits, must be paid equivalent to what pilots accepted in service and in accordance with government rules.
It also said that the contract extension, in the future, the contractual pilot will become Indian air wisdom given their satisfying performance.
The order was forwarded more than 40 petitions by pilots whose services were stopped by Air India on August 13 last year.
The pilot whose work ended in he initially moved the court in July last year looking for clues to India air to receive a withdrawal of resignation tendered by them.
However, on August 13, 2020, Air India issued a letter of cessation to several pilots including those who want to attract their resignation.
Furthermore, pilots moved the High Court to August 13, 2020, Air India’s decision.
Several pilots initially submitted their resignation of delays by Air India in channeling payments and benefits.
They also argue that their notification period is not reduced or the certificate does not mind anything released for them after receiving resignation.
They increasingly argue that resignation is then withdrawn, but withdrawals are not accepted by Air India.
