Noida: In size to prevent air pollution, the Gautam Buddh Nagar Government has asked the district police to confiscate a diesel vehicle of more than 10 years and gasoline vehicles are older than 15 years in accordance with the command of the Supreme Court.
The police have also been asked to ensure that vehicles that are not destined for Noida or Greater Noida use bypass or a peripheral app, according to the ‘Winter Action Plan’ issued by the Buddh District Administration Gautam.
It stated that the police had been asked to maintain strict vigilance and did not show tolerance for emissions seen by stopping the “vehicle visible pollution” from plying by confiscating or spending fines to violators.
Administration on October 6 released the ‘winter action plan’ to examine pollution to various government institutions and authorities in front of the winter, where air pollution in the National Capital Region (NCR), including Noida and Greater Noida, a severe level surge that affects humans health.
Administration asked the police to register hot-spot traffic in the district and release it and appropriate advisors.
“Spread additional human strength and civil defense volunteers to ensure fluent traffic flow on black hot-spots and diesel vehicles stored more than 10 years and gasoline vehicles are older than 15 years in accordance with the command of the Supreme Court,” the company said.
“Make sure the vehicle that is not destined to use bypass or freeway, keep a strict alertness and there is no tolerance for the visible emissions – stop plying the vehicle that looks pollution by confiscating / fine,” he said.
The police were also asked to maintain strict pollution and enforcement under control norms (PUC) in addition to ensuring the termination of encroachment on the path.
“Check and resolve problems such as unusual congestion and emissions due to traffic or parking, and make sure compliance with the action plan on the pollution hotspot identified in the city,” according to the plan.
The police have also been asked to ensure the implementation of the Supreme Court’s commandment of prohibitions or restrictions in the sale and use of fire crackers in NCR.
“Make sure complaints equipment are immediately accepted at Sameer, Swachh Vayu, Twitter etc.,” he added.
Previously, the Uttar Pradesh pollution control board identified eight main points of the main air pollution in Noida and Greater Noida, according to Buddh Gautam Regency administration, which had directed local authorities to ensure the implementation of the action plan to check pollution during the winter.
The hot spots identified are 7x sectors (collective community housing groups in sectors 73 to 78 noida), sector 150, Yamuna Perna region, Noida-Greater Noida Expressway, Jalan Dadri, Underpass and Building Construction Greater Noida Expressway, Greater Noida West and Industrial Areas Upsid, he said.
The main sources of air pollution have been identified as waste dust, construction and disassembly (C & D), industrial dust emissions, undressed roads and traffic congestion, government said in communication on Wednesday for the three industrial development authorities and other departments.
