New Delhi: The air quality management commission in NCR and a side by side ordered many steps on Tuesday to deal with emergency air in the capital.
This includes turning off all except five thermal power plants within a radius of 300 km from Delhi until November 30; Stop the entry of trucks in Delhi except those who carry important commodities; Maintain diesel vehicles and gasoline more than 10 and 15 years, in NCR from the road and prohibit construction and demolition activities in NCR until November 21, except for several government and infrastructure projects.
All educational institutions in NCR will remain closed until the order further with only the allowed online mode.
At least 50% of government staff throughout the NCR will work from homes and private companies will be encouraged to do it until November 21.
Among the other steps announced by the Commission that prohibits the set of DG throughout the NCR, except for emergency services, and ensures that all industries in NCR with gas connections are only carried out on gas, failing that must be closed.
Those who use unrespary fuel must be closed by each government with direct effects, and wherever the gas is available, they will shift to the fuel mode.
It attended a meeting with NCR stating the previous day by focusing on vehicle pollution, dust pollution from construction and road activities, and emissions from thermal power plants and industrial pollution.
