Gurugram: District administration on Friday imposed pre-grap measures to fight pollution because the air quality index (AQI) deteriorated to 102 from Thursday 77.
The action plan (grap) will be applied in the region since October 15.
While the construction project, including highways and metro sites, will be needed to provide an effort to the pollution control board on compliance with dust management norms, the state pollution control agency Haryana (HSPCB) will reactivate the complaints complaints room.
Companies in Gurugram, Sohna, Pataudi and Farrukhnagar, and GMDA, will begin to sprinkle water on the road, increase the frequency of mechanical cleaning and crack down on the use of coal and firewood in hotels and restaurants.
Single plastic use has been banned.
“We are more careful this year.

MCG also needs to ensure compliance with road construction norms and storm waterways.
Four fire tenders will be deployed by the fire branch, one for each zone, to sprinkle water on the road.
“This is a set of preventative measures implemented by Gurugram with the intention of ensuring that air quality remains controlled,” said Kuldeep Singh, regional officers, HSPCB.
