Air Rabindra Sarobar sample shows a low oxygen level

Kolkata: The Department of Fisheries submits the dissolved oxygen test report from the Rabindra Sarobar Water Agency to the Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) on Wednesday.
The report said the level of doing one of three samples was found lower than the desired.
The sample will be tested again to cross the results.
Kmda and the Department of Fisheries have examined the body of the water on Monday after the dead fish found floating.
“The normal level in the water body must be more than 5 mg / liter.
According to the report, the number of two samples tested is more than that, but one shows a lower level.
The authority of the fisheries department will re-test the sample again.
All other parameters are normal,” said A kmda official.
Officials said the WBPCB would also collect water samples from the Sarobar Agency on Thursday to test the parameters and the fisheries department had also collected several dead fish to examine the cause of death.
“All reports are expected this weekend,” said a KMDA official.
“Low dissolved oxygen level.
But other parameters also need to be assessed to see if there are other factors behind dying fish,” said Environmental Scientist Swati Nandi Chakraborty.
“Lake water must be missed to remove the toxic surface of the top land,” said the surrendering neighborhood Mohan Ghosh.
