“The tendency has continued to signify at the revival of visitors also.
There’s barely any worldwide passenger traffic and national motion is hit by the lockdown posed from the nation following the election,” said an airport .
Hit by reductions following a dip in aircraft and passenger visitors for a year and then deferring of charge by Mumbai and Delhi airports, Airports Authority of India (AAI) is contemplating cutting back on upkeep and repairs in most branches such as civil, electrical, electronic equipment and IT infrastructure that might have an effect on passenger encounter.
Balraj Singh Ahlawat, general secretary of Airports Authority Employees Union (AAEU) stated that rather than austerity measures, which will affect workers who need to work around the clock to maintain airports functioning even when traffic isn’t there, the authorities must provide capital into the AAI to help reestablish it.
