Panaji: In December 2021, Goa will see more waste treatment plants (STP) which are operational in the state, which will jointly produce around 165mLD water after treatment.
At present, water is released at sea.

STPS currently operates in Panaji, Margao and Vasco in the state.
Their combined capacity is 78.3 months.
Five stps are more in development in covers with a capacity of 35.5 MLD.
