Bengaluru: Defense PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (bell), on Monday said recently signed a contract with the Airbus defense and room for the manufacture and supply of radar Warning Receiver (RWR) and warning systems for the missile (MAW) approach to the C295 aircraft.
The contract he said was part of the Airbus offset commitment under the C295 aircraft program from the Indian government, and that it was in accordance with the ‘Make In India’ policy.
“The contract is the largest export sequence received until the date by the bell.
We are very happy to be part of the C295 program,” said Vinay Kumar Katyal, Director, Complex Bell Bengaluru.
As per the statement issued by the PSU, export orders are worth $ 93.15 million.
