PUNE: The town’s transportation utility will restart its airport bus support from Wednesday.
The Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) chairman and managing director, Rajendra Jagtap, said that the ceremony would resume on five paths along with just two buses each.
“A total of 10 buses will operate from Wednesday.
The agency was stopped after Covid-induced limitations from April.
The buses from/to the airport may visit Nigdi, Hadapsar, Swargate, Kothrud and Hinjewadi,” he explained.
The passenger flights and traffic in the Pune airport have improved this season.
There are 46 to 50 flight motions daily and approximately 5,000 passengers utilize the centre every day.
The PMPML had established that the airport bus service from October last year with 35 e-buses.
The ceremony had been curtailed this January and 10 buses have been removed because of bad passenger reaction.
