Mumbai: The revised tariff for non-AC and air-conditioning taxis on the Mumbai-Pune route is now Rs 450 and Rs 525 per passenger, an official from the Department of Transportation said on Friday.
Also, the minimum rate for prepaid taxis for Caesi Peeli at T2 International Terminal will be Rs 127 for 6 km, while it will become Rs 85 for 4 km for those who operate in the domestic terminal.
Outside the minimum distance, the cost will change every two kilometers for prepaid taxis operating from international and domestic terminals.
This will be a telescopic tariff that is reduced because distance increases.
Tabies will also have incentives in the range of 10-25 percent on prepaid routes.
Caesi Peeli taxis can also charge 10 percent higher fates to provide AC services in the same cabin, an official added.
