Airtel increases prepaid cellphone rates, here are new rates

Bharti Airtel has announced a price increase for its cellular prepay package.
This is for the first time in years that the company raised the price of almost all prepaid plans by 20-25%.
New rates will take effect from November 26, 2021.
RS 79 Plans with 28 Days Validity will now cost Rs 99, an increase in RS 20.
The plan will offer 50% more talk time from RS 99, 200MB data 1p / second sound tariff.
RS 149’s plan will be graced at RS 179.
“Bharti Airtel (” Airtel “) always states that cellular average income per user (ARPU) needs to be at Rs 200 and in the end at the RS 300, so that it provides a reasonable sense to capital which allows financially healthy business models, “the company said in a spicy state.
“We also believe that the ARPU level will enable large investments needed in the network and spectrum.
It is even more important, this will provide airtel elbow space to launch 5G in India,” added the company.
“Therefore, as a first step, we lead in rebalancing our rates during November,” said the statement.
