Airtel will enter the home supervision business solution by launching a new sub-brand.
According to industry sources, the company has initiated a trial of new supervision services for smart homes under the X-Safe brand in Delhi-NCR.
As part of the pilot, the solution is only available for several XStream Airtel-Broadband Broadband customers in the capital.
Services can be disbursed by paying Rs 99 per month.
Customers can also choose to subscribe annually at RS 999 prices .
Apart from this, this service consists of Broadband FTTH connectivity and Telco class cloud storage.
This first subscription-based supervision solution by Airtel will allow users to monitor areas inside and outside anytime of their smartphone.
According to the source, customers must bear the cost of one time for smart cameras.
Monthly or annual subscriptions will include access to company cloud storage services where videos will be saved.
Resources subsequently reveal that the company currently offers three camera options to customers to choose from.
Smart home gadgets slowly make their land on the Indian market and such solutions from popular service providers likely to increase the segment.
