Airtel to save cash 40,000 crore crore through a moratorium

New Delhi: The day after the government announced a Mega bailout package for the telecommunications industry, Head of Bharti Airtel Sunil Mittal said the company would choose a four-year moratorium on spectrum and AGR payments, which would save cash RSGO 35,000-40,000 Crore to be used for networks and expansion programs other capital.
“The overall cash flow from the government must be reinvested in the country and industry.
It must be utilized.
There will be no dividends from this,” Mittal said.
Mittal also greater collaboration between various telecommunications companies in front of infrastructure – such as fiber, spectrum and tower – so that strong networks can be built for consumers.
He said he would speak with rivals like Mukesh Ambani from Reliance Jio, after a dialogue with Vodafone Global CEO Nick Read and Indian partners and Industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla.
“Ambani in his statement yesterday said that it was time for the industry to unite …
and build network connectivity for Indian digital vision.
Responding to the statement, I would say, yes, time has come for all of us, three plus one government operator, to close Ranking, and to start working together, working as a team of India, for dream telecommunications and digital, more precisely than being a fierce competitor.
All of this will temporarily compete in the market.
