AISATS staff are held for cargo theft by CISF

New Delhi: CISF has caught the Aisat staff for allegedly stealing and illegally tried to take certain electronic items from the Delhi airport cargo area, officials said on Friday.
They told Sharma staff had an official Aerodrome entry permit (AEP) from Indira Gandhi International Airport and he was intercepted by security personnel when he left the terminal area on Wednesday night.
Three Lenovo brand electronic tablets and smart watches Haylou was restored from men after he was sought by personnel Industrial Security Forces (CISF), they said.
Because he could not provide the right documents or reasons to bring alleged stolen goods, he was handed over to the airport police.
A fir police had been filed by the staff and he had been charged under the IPC 379 section (penalty for theft) and 411 (dishonestly accepting the property of stolen), they said.
AISATS, according to the information provided on its official website, is a joint venture of 50:50 between Air India Limited and Sats Limited, expressed as a gateway service provider and leading food solutions in Asia.
