So, we heard a lot of noise a few months ago when ‘RRR’ and ‘Maidaan’ were announced to release on the same date.
Rajamouli and Boney Kapoor sure will be October 13, 2021, for them – and nothing else.
But the most uncertain thing in the life of this world – and more than now has other plans in the store.
‘Rrr’ is far from complete and we heard that this film will be released now in April 2022.
Many VFX and post-production work is still left to do.
On the other hand, ‘maidaan’ has also been forced to have changes in plans.
Tuklon Tauktae killed many people and damaged a large number of properties in several parts of India, yesterday.
Etime broke the story first on May 20, 2021 (see below) that the cyclone was not avoided from ‘Maaida’ ajay Devgn also on the outskirts of Mumbai.
Fortunately there were no casualties on the set but the set at which Devgn should take pictures of most remaining films damaged badly damaged, almost to the point of total destruction.

The ‘Maidaan’ team returned to shoot in the same place but only used a small portion of the ground on August 20.
However, the shooting was questioned for 3 days.

The remaining part of ‘maidaan’ will now be shot in October now because it requires a larger land area, which is now fast recurrence and relevant.
Thus, it is clear that October 13 is ruled out for ‘naihaan’.
‘Maidaan’ was produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Ajay Sharma, besides Devgn, Star Keerthi Suresh, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao in an important role.
‘Rrr’ was produced by K V Danyya and directed by Bintang Rajamouli Ntr Junior, Ram Charan, Ajay Devn and Alia Bhatt in an important role.
Boney, Danayya and Rajamouli remain not available to comment.
