Mumbai: The former Indian goalkeeper Ajay Ratra has submitted the position of the Indian Cricket Team Field Coach.
Faridabad Born Ratra who was 39-year-old had played six tests and 12 ODIS and 99 first-class matches.
“It would be better if I could contribute to the success of the Indian team if given the opportunity,” Ratra, who played for Haryana on the domestic circuit, told PTI on Tuesday.
Ratra, who has a varying experience of coaching, is currently the Head of the Head of Assam and is in the North Eastern state for the team’s camp ahead of the trophy of the Syed Mushtaq Ali, which will begin in 4.
November, he has worked with his capital Delhi and in the past has worked with a team of Indian women.
Ratra is also common at the National Cricket Academy and also works with Indian breeders such as Wriddhiman Saha and Rishabh Pant.
BCCI has invited applications for various training positions for the Indian team.
