Ajit Pawar calls for focus on vaccination

Nashik: Deputy Chief of Minister Ajit Pawar on Friday instructed local administration throughout the state to increase Covid vaccination coverage, while also ensuring that hospitals are equipped with medical oxygen supplies for patients.
Pawar is in Jalgaon for the district planning committee meeting.
The minister shows that the spread of omicron variants is the main problem.
“Because the vaccine reduces the severity of infection, officials need to take a door campaign to the door to ensure that everyone is vaccinated,” he said.
He added that officials need to strengthen infrastructure for health care even in rural areas.
“The focus is to ensure medical oxygen supply and storage in rural areas so it is available for people who suffer from infections in rural areas,” he said.
Pawar also emphasizes ordinary fire audits, electricity and structural in hospitals and inspects fire fighting equipment.
