An FIR filed with a 28-year-old model accuses Bollywood manufacturer Ajit Thakur and many other people of rape and molestation.
An offence under section 376, 354 IPC was registered on 26 May in the Bandra police station after the version’s complaint.
Ajit Thakur’s attorney has shared an announcement together with ETimes clarifying his position.
It says,”The allegations made against me are false, malicious and moved.
It’s not anything more than an effort to correct my reputation.
In actuality, I’ve got proof that suggests that the complainant had been trying to humiliate myself amongst others and if her efforts failed, she resorted to enrolling in an FIR with baseless allegations.
I shall take all the required legal actions against her and I’m sure that reality will prevail”.
Bollywood photographer Colston Julian is also named in the FIR and he’s contemplating filing a defamation lawsuit against this model.
His attorney, Ravina Rajpal, had previously shared at a declaration with ETimes:”This is an untrue scenario, we’ll collaborate with the government concerned in all manners possible.
The thing is pending identification and can be sub judice.
We’re also researching legal remedies such as defamation in due course”.
