Albany, Mrs: A woman who accused the Governor of Andrew Cuomo groping her breasts at the residence of the Governor’s country filed a criminal complaint against her, the Sheriff Office of Albany Regency said Friday.
The complaint, submitted Thursday with the Sheriff office, is the first example known where a woman has made an official report with law enforcement agencies for alleged violations by Cuomo.
Albany County Sheriff Craig Apple told the New York Post that there was a possibility that the Democratic governor could be arrested if the investigators or regency lawyers determined that he committed a crime.
“The end result could sound sound proven and the arrest was made and it would be up to DA to demand an arrest,” he told the newspaper, which was the first to report the complaint.
” Just because of whom we will not rush or delay it, “Apple said.
Apple does not immediately restore phone messages from the Associated Press.
His office confirmed to the AP that the report was submitted.
Able Cuomo, who submitted a report has accused of reaching his shirt and stroking him when they were alone together at the Executive Mansion last year.
Independent investigations supervised by the State Attorney General’s Office this Sunday found Cuomo harassed 11 women and worked to reply to one of the accusations.
Prosecutors in several New York countries said they were interested in investigating non-deserve touch claims by Cuomo, but all have said that they need women involved in allegations to make official reports.
The Sheriff office does not immediately provide a complaint copy.
Request comment was sent to the lawyer Cuomo, Rita Glavin.
Cuomo denied touching anyone inappropriately and said the alleged meeting fumbling did not happen.
The woman also told investigators with the Attorney General’s office that Cuomo had brushed the back end when they posed together for a photo.
