Lucknow: Sitting MP from Azamgarh and the Samajwadi Party (SP) National President Akhilesh Yadav has stated that he will not oppose the assembly selection of 2022.
He also said SP has entered the Alliance with Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) for state polls.
On the problem joining his hands with Uncle Shivpal Yadav party who wasolated the Samajwadi Party, SP head confirmed his previous booth that he was open to it.
“He and his party leaders will be respected adequately,” Akhilesh said.
SP head before saying he was open to leaving a chair for shivpal and accommodating his “nation”.
Akhilesh interacted with the media while visiting Hardoi on Sunday when he was asked whether he would oppose the assembly poll himself considering that he was a member of parliament sitting from Azamgarh.
“I will not oppose the assembly selection,” he said.
Akhilesh also announced that the SP-RLD Alliance was in place and official announcements about sharing seats will be done soon.
The SP head statement has provided speculation that rested on the possibility of alliance talks between RLD and Congress originating after photos of meetings between Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and Chaudhary Jayant RLD which took place in Lucknow on Media Day, began to do rounds on social media.
Then, RLD’s sources said the two leaders had met at the airport and it was just a coincidence.
SP leaders are also very close to SP’s head’s decision not to oppose the assembly poll.
Sources say akhikesh decision not to fight the election assembly comes from the fact that the assembly selection that the fight itself will make him busy by combing himself and setting aside fewer times for him to campaign throughout the country and the extent.
The leaders of the senior party said senior leaders who did not compete for assembly selection were not new.
Apart from Akhilesh, a number of top politicians such as Supremo Party Supremo Mayawati and Chairman of the Minister of Yogi Adityanath moved away from the selection of assemblies only to take the MLC route or through Bypolls.
“The National President of SP itself will be in Medan or is not important as a party as a whole will oppose the assembly poll of 2022 on the name, face and leadership of Akhilesh Yadav,” said Party spokesman and MLC Udaveer Singh.
Akhilesh is currently busy with ‘Vijay Yatra’ throughout his state which was launched from Ganga Ghat in Kanpur and entered the second phase of Hardoi on Sunday.
