Lucknow: When the National President of the Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav visited Unnao on Wednesday to uncover the statue of the leader of Nishad Manohar Lal, the event was seen as a party effort to reach the Nishad community.
That the former CM started ‘RATH’ to reach Unno has left the political enemy guessing if the event was the launch of Rath Yatra Akhilesh to poll 2022.
The party officially described Akhilesh’s visit to Unnao as Shankhnaad against the powerful BJP and Head SP said it was new The beginning of a series of “similar events” lined up for the future.
“Rath Yatra will be more organized as soon as he passed it with a rainy season session that would conclude on August 2,” said the Akhilesh team member.
SP leaders describe SP head visits as “a short trip with a strong message”.
“Manohar Lal is MLA and MP who always works to unite non-Yadav (OBC) backwards as far as he makes his sons marry Lodh’s family.
He is a social reformer with his own right and Akhilesh visit has a social cause for it,” said A senior SP leader.
The party in the party said this time because of the restrictions after the pandemic, Head SP decided to start visiting various parts of the country with ‘RATH’ which would not appear as a typical ‘RATH’ that he began with a lot of the opponition in a spend on the election of 2017 assembly.
Analysts Politics, however, sees Rath Yatra Akhilesh to Unnao as an effort to discredit the narrative where opposition parties are targeted not to conclude the problems they like to tweet.
“Rath Yatras at Chief SP will definitely end the attack from the powerful BJP so that the opposition is only visible on Twitter,” said a political observer.
Meanwhile, the Samajwadi Party on Friday appointed Leelawati Kushwaha as the President of the State of Wing Party Women.
Former Chairman of the Commission for Women of Zearena Usmani and Rachna Kori from Amethi was appointed as two vice president of the country wing.
COL (RETD) Sharad’s advice was appointed as president of the State of Prakosht.
