Nagpur: Akola Regency, one of the worst districts because the Covid pandemic directly from the first wave, reported zero new cases on Saturday.
A total of 988 tests were carried out in Akola in the last 24 hours.
With this, Akola became the first district in the Amravati Revenue Division (East Vidarbha) to record zero cases in 24 hours.
In the Nagpur Division, Bhandara and Gondia continue to report zero new cases.
For the first time, 3 of the 11 districts reported zero new cases.
Prohibiting Amravati (21), all other districts reported less than 15 cases on Saturday.
Overall, 86 new cases were reported in the region of more than 24,000 tests carried out in the last 24 hours.
This means, the overall test in Vidarbha is 0.35%.
The overall growth rate of new cases is still below 0.05% in all districts.
With a 98% recovery rate, and only 968 patients undergoing treatment, most hospitals in Vidarbha have more than 95% of beds provided for covid patients who are not inhabited.
However, restrictions on movement and the market continued in this region for another week.
Nagpur Municipal Corporation issues a notification in this case on Saturday.
All districts in Vidarbha will also publish their respective notification on Sundays and the most likely limit extended for another week.
With 86 new cases and 122 recovery in a day, the Vidarbha region reported 4 deaths.
Gadchiroli contributes 2 of them.
A 42-year-old woman and a 73-year-old woman died at Gadchiroli.
Amravati and Wardha reported 1 death, both senior citizens.
Vidarbha’s death toll reached 21,312 and the case mortality rate was 1.91%.
Now, seven districts in Vidarbha have less patients exercise in double numbers.
Nagpur is the only district with 310 patients under the treatment while Amravati has 179.
All other districts have less than 150 patients in care.
Wardha: A 64-year-old man from the city died of Covid during treatment on Saturday, took the victim to 1,324.
Five new cases are detected and and two run out.
Kasel increased to 49,324 while recovery reached 47,969 leaving 31 positive cases active in the district.
877 Test reports were received while two of Wardha and each of the Selu, Ashti and Hingangphat were tested positively.
Amravati: The death of a 62-year-old man from Umri Village in Daryapur Tehsil is a single victim of Covid who took the victim to 1.560 on Saturday.
Yavatmal: With a spike of 21, Caseload rose to 96,393 while 19 recovery took a total of 94,654 for the level of 98.20%.
This left 179 active cases in care.
Yavatmal reported no death for 29 consecutive days, stopping the toll at 1,789.
Administration received 1,117 test reports three (from Digras, Mahagaon and Wani) were found positive.
There are currently 21 positive positive patients who underwent treatment at the hospital.
Of 72,782 positive patients, 70,975 including two on Saturday had recovered.
The test level of the test is 10.53% and the mortality rate is 2.45%.
The daily level of peposititivity is 0.27%.
Chandrapur: Zero victim, 13 detection and 22 registered recovery on Saturday left 133 active patients.
This is the seventh consecutive day without Covid’s death.

This district also reported 12 new cases of 668 tests and 13 recovery.
Now, Gadchiroli has 124 patients in care.
Akola: Of the 988 tests, not one person tested positive on Saturday.
With two recovery in a day, this district has 45 patients in care.
Washim: Overall, 8 new cases and 15 recovery were reported on Saturday.
Now, 82 patients are in care.
Bulldhana: from 3,021 tests carried out, 10 positively tested which means testing 0.33% positive.
28 patients recovered in a day.
Now, this district has 22 patients who are in care.
Gondia: For the second day in a row, the Gondia reported zero new cases.
One patient recovered.
Now, this district has 15 patients who are in care and 9 of them are in house isolation.
Bhandara: No new patients reported while one patient recovered on Saturday.
The district now only has 6 patients undergoing treatment, the lowest in Maharashtra once more.
