Coimbatore: The checker of domestic breeding with Alandurai Town Panchayat said six of them were stopped from work without prior notice on Saturday, citing their educational qualifications.
Panchayath has 10 examiners of domestic breeding.
Anonymity, one of the workers said he worked with Panchayat on the basis of the contract for the past seven years for RS230 daily wages.
