KOLKATA: West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday maintained that Alapan Bandyopadhyay is a closed chapter today, but claimed that her government will stand from the former chief secretary of this country about the row on his not only linking the central authorities.
“Alapan Bandyopadhyay chapter is all finished now.
The West Bengal government will provide complete assistance to Alapan Bandyopadhyay in anything is going around with him” Banerjee told reporters when asked about her administration’s position about the fiasco.
Bandopadhyay was put to retire May 31, however, the nation had searched and obtained permission for expansion of his sanity by three weeks since he played a critical part in the struggle from the Covid-19 pandemic.
He had been, but handed over a move directive from the Centre, soon after a row broke out during Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s post-cyclone inspection interview, and the CM along with the state chief secretary didn’t attend.
