Karan Johar again did what he did the best, contact a shot! On Ranveer Singh’s birthday, the filmmaker has announced that he will direct actors and Alia Bhatt in a charming romantic saga which is all about love and family.
Revealing the details about his director, Karan Johar shared on Twitter, “Glad to be behind the lens with my favorite people in front of him! Presenting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani, none other than Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt and written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Laitan & Sumit Roy.

Ranveer Singh also shared a post that revealed detailed film and writing, “Special announcement on my special day! Presenting – Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani along with Supernova Alia Bhatt Me, directed by its own genre, Kaleidoscopic visionary Karan Johar, & written by Ishita Moitra , Shashank Khait & Sumit Roy.

Previously, Karan Johar has forgiven the excitement of his direct effort with the teaser announcing his return.
“This is the beginning of a new trip & the road goes home again – at once.
It’s time to go back to my favorite place, it’s time to make some eternal love stories from behind the lens.
A very special story, truly sinking in the root of love and family,” The filmmaker has shared.
Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh had previously shared a frame in Zoya ‘Gully Boy’ and charming chemistry won the heart.
Recently, Alia Bhatt began to shoot for its own production business, ‘Darlings’.
The film was dirid by Jasmeet K Reen and also Vijay Vijay Varma and Shefali Shah in an important role.
While Ranveer Singh vigorously waited for Rohit Shetty’s release directed ’83, which was also produced by Karan Johar.
It was after a five-year break that Karan Johar returned to the director’s seat.
The last Director was the 2015 release ‘AE Dil Hai Mushkil’, which featured Anushka Sharma, Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan as direction.
Interestingly, in February 2020, KJO has announced that he will summon a shot for ‘takht’, a drama period featuring Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor.
However, there has been no further update about this ambitious film by KJO.
