ALIGARH: Post-mortem accounts of the bodies of 25 people who died after consuming spurious liquor in Aligarh suggest deaths due to alcohol poisoning, Aligarh district chief medical officer said Sunday.
“We’ve conducted postmortem of all 51 bodies.
The findings from 25 of these are more indicative of alcohol poisoning.
Viscera of 26 are retained and samples are delivered to Agra for analyzing.
The accounts are expected,” Aligarh district CMO, Dr BPS Kalayani informed ANI.
