Nagpur: In the main milestone in the Covid vaccination program for Zilla Parishad (ZP), everyone above 45 years has taken the first dose in 35 villages in Nagpur Regency.
CEO of ZP Yogesh Kumbhejkar told TI that this might be due to ‘vaccination in your village’.
“Officials of the Ministry of Health, Public Representatives, Angganwadi Sevikas and others identified people who qualified.
We want to ensure all 18+ in the earliest-vaccinated rural areas,” he added.
Kumhejkar said that the resumption of vaccination of the 18-44-year-old group helped in eliminating doubts about 45+.
“There is great enthusiasm in the age group of 18-44 years.
They bring their tits and ensure vaccination throughout the family.
Also, people who have not taken Jab appear to see young people,” he said.
Programs to explain the importance of vaccination and also announce the names of leading people who have taken Jab that helps.

There are around 1,700 villages in 13 tehsils in the Nagpur district.

CM Uddhav Thackeray, Deputy CM Ajit Pawar, Raut and others will dedicate this van to people on August 20 and will launch a ‘mission vaccination’ campaign.
The expression has given this van from CSR funds of RS 25 Crore Mahatransco.
Vans will be involved in holding special vaccination camps in areas in urban areas and villages in rural areas.
