Mumbai: The city crime branch investigates Raj Kundra for pornographic film production on Sunday recording a statement of film producer Tanvir Hashmi from the letter.
The police said Hashmi had been arrested with three police officials in 2015 for kidnapping and raping the model in the Sakinaka police beat Chowky.
Kasing is still waiting for the trial.
In the case of pornographic films, the police had called three accused, Vandana Tiwari aka Gehna Vashist, Yasmin Rowa Khan and Hashmi.
The police have found that two are accused of this case, Arvind Kumar Srivastav and Yash Thakur, are one person.
The police have issued a search notification of both names.
Hashmi is a friend of Thakur.
