New Delhi: In the midst of a passport report of certain Afghan citizens have been misplaced in a chaotic situation in Afghanistan, the Indian government has made it mandatory for all Afghan citizens only to enter the X-Miscellaneous e-emergency visa.
“Because of the security situation that applies in Afghanistan and streamline the visa process with the introduction of the X-Miscellaneous e-emergency visa, it has been decided that all Afghan citizens to subsequently have to travel to India only on e-visa,” MHA release.

All visas that exist from Afghan citizens who are currently not in India will stand canceled with direct effects, the ministry said.
The source explained that this might be due to the passport threat ‘wrong place’ entered the wrong hand.
By making a mandatory e-visa for all Afghans, said an officer, the Ministry of the House will verify fresh security while processing the application, thus eliminating the possibility of a missing passport used by fraudsters to get into India.
