Bhubaneswar: The Ministry of Higher Education on Monday asked all teaching and non-teaching staff and universities under his jurisdiction to attend assignments on all working days with the effect of Tuesday.
Previously, 50 percent of staff attended tasks based on the list.
This decision was taken to maintain the examination and publication of the coming results.
The Secretary of the Department of Sasswat Mishra in a letter to the Deputy Chancellor of the State University and the College Principal stated that the Covid-19 situation had relatively improved compared to the situation that applies in mid-April this year.

This department clarified that the instructions of the General Administration Department regarding the closing of the government office on Saturday did not apply to the level of universities and universities.
However, these institutions will remain closed on Saturday as long as there is a weekend shutdown related to Covid-19 which is declared in the district / city / city.
Institution employees will strictly follow all Covid-19 guidelines including wearing facial masks, hand wash properly, maintain social distance and self / quarantine isolation.
