New Delhi: Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla said Monday all related protocols Covid will be followed during the Monsoon Parliament session scheduled to start from July 19.
He said those who have not been vaccinated against the Coronavirus will be asked to undergo RT-PCR tests before entering the parliamentary place during the session.
Overcoming a press conference in the Parliament Complex, Birla said 323 parliamentarians had been fully vaccinated against the virus, while 23 could not take their first jab for several medical reasons.
Birla said the two houses will sit simultaneously and the process will start at 11 o’clock in the morning.
Monsoon Parliament sessions will begin on July 19 and conclude on August 13.
Because the pandemic began, three parliamentary sessions were limited while last year’s winter session had to be canceled.
The Monsun session, which usually started in July, has begun in September last year due to a pandemic situation.
