New Delhi: Chairman of the Minister of Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday announced that all the capital’s weekly market would be allowed to open from Monday.
At present, only one market per day per zone is permitted with only a 50% vendor capacity.
“The weekly market is opened from Monday.
This is the poor.
The government is quite concerned with their livelihoods.
However, the health and lives of all people are also important.
I urge everyone to follow the appropriate behavior of Covid after this market is opened,” Kejriawal tweeted.
The Covid situation in the capital seems to be controlled by the remaining levels of the remaining 0.12% over the past few days.
Delhi currently has more than 560 active cases, while more than 50% of the qualified population has received at least one covid vaccine dose.
The weekly market has been closed since the beginning of the second wave in April, and although almost all economic activities are permitted to operate, the weekly market is not allowed to fully permit.
Traders involved in these markets have demanded demands to allow the opening of all weekly markets.
The Delhi Disaster Management Authority command by opening further will spell condition, which will guide the opening of all weekly markets.
