Hyderabad: To preserve the electronic voting machine (EVM), New Godown has been built throughout the state.
While the 20 has been completed, the other two will be ready at the end of the month.
After this is done, all districts will separate the warehouse to save EVMS.
On Monday, the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Shashank Goel held a video conference with a collector and issued instructions to shift EVS to New Godown.
He also said the revised voter list must be prepared on January 5, 2022.
The application for registration of new voters, online and offline, must be checked at the Booth level and addition / correction must be carried out on December 20, CEO inaugurates EVM Godown at Jayashhankar Bhupalpally District.
EVM Godown was built on a place of 100 beds.
“All EVMs will be placed in New Godown with police protection.
EVMS is like the heart of the election,” CEO said.
In Karameddy and Narayanpet, Godown will be finished at the end of the month.
