German automaker Audi is all set to launch its electric SUV, e-tron in India on July 22.
The new e-tron will be Audi India’s first electric car.
It will target the rivals like new Mercedes-Benz EQC and Jaguar I-Pace.
Globally the e-tron has emerged as a big success for Audi as it became one of Europe’s best-selling electric vehicles with full range of derivatives.
17,641 units of the car have already been sold in the first half of 2020.
E-tron is available exclusively at selected showrooms across the country ahead of its price reveal.
Audi is yet to announce the pre-bookings on the car.
The model was upgraded last year and is now embedded with a second onboard charger and a 71.2 kWh battery pack.
It is capable of accelerating 0-100 kmph mark in just 6.8 seconds and has a top speed of 190 kmph.
Audi claims the full-charge range of the SUV between 282 km and 340 km.
