Bhopal: With the appointment of the former Union Minister Tharawar Chand Gehlot as Governor of Karnataka, all eyes on BJP are in Rajya Sabha Berth emptied by him.
There is speculation full of national leadership will provide more weight to the ministers who have been appointed in the Union cabinet on July 7, although not a member of parliament.
The source at BJP revealed that the Election Commission might announce by selection for one bed anytime after the Monsun Assembly session.
The Presidential Secretary of the Assembly, Awadhesh Pratap Singh said that the secretariat was prepared but everything depends on EC.
In the midst of speculation, the name of several senior leaders who conducted a round of political circles including the National Secretary General of BJP Kailash Vijayavargiya; Lal Singh Arya, National President of the SCS front and several outsiders such as the Union Minister Sarbanou Sonowal and L Murugan.
Sources also said Sonolwa might get a bed at Assam, emptied by BJP leader Bisang Daimary on May 10, 10 Muruguan is likely to be elected from Puducherry as BJP wants him to work for Tamil Nadu and Puduchery.
High party orders are likely to make a decision after the announcement of the poll, the source added.
Vijayavargiya has been responsible for parties in the election of the Assembly recently concluded for West Bengal.
Despite losing, BJP made an impressive leap from 3 to 77 seats in the state.
However, he has not provided an indication whether he is willing to be a member of Rajya Sabha.
Lal Singh Arya, being a prominent face in the Saffron group, can be considered one of the strong prosecutors for the bed.
According to the current party situation in the Assembly, BJP has a power of 125 members while the opposition congress has 95 members at home.
There are four independent, two parties and one candidate for the Sawajwadi Party (SP) while three seats, friends, Prithvipur and Raigaon are empty after the death of the Covid-19 pandemic members.
EC is likely to do a poll in this three seats too.
On June 29, 2022, three seats tended to be emptied; Two of the BJP and one from the Congress, as Sampatiya Uike’s ownership, MJ Akbar and Vivek Tankha will be completed.
BJP became the majority at home claiming to win all three seats apart from beds currently emptied by Gehlot.
