New Delhi: As a cutting of Jharkhand additional sessions Judge (ASJ) highlighted the threats faced by the judge in the task of use and encouraging the Supreme Court to take Suo Motu’s awareness, the state government told the court that all judges from the High Court for the District Court were given security and ASJ given a bodyguard.
SC, which examines the steps to be taken to improve the security of judges and court places, have requested responses from the center and all state governments in this issue.
It also to decide whether special power must be made under the control of the judiciary that must be entrusted with the task of protecting the judges and the place of court instead of relying on the police and the government.
Providing details of the steps taken in the past three years to provide protection to 24 district courts and sub-division courts in their jurisdiction, the state government said, “committed to providing the security needed to judicial members so that they may function independently without fear Intimidation.
