Vadodara: All hostels from Halls of Residence MS University are now equipped with CCTV cameras.
University administration, with central computer support, installed CCTV cameras covering all hostel buildings including the Hostel boy campus and campus of Girls Hostel.
According to university officials, a total of 672 cameras have included include 12 boys hostels and four hostel building girls.
On campus hostel boys, 450 CCTV cameras have been installed, while 202 installed on the girls campus’.
Officials said all CCTV cameras were equipped with the Night Vision feature to ensure the security and security of dormitory students and at the same time were still watched on Monchief Mongers.
The control room for supervision has been arranged at the hostel place to maintain a strict surprise on the movement.
Officials said this project was carried out at a cost of almost 80 lakh rs.
Also, it has been completed with the concept of ‘Make In India’ using a camera supplied by Indian manufacturers.
It should be mentioned here that the university has made a policy decision to install a surveillance camera across the old campus.
The decision was taken by considering the clash of violence witnessed by the campus in front or during student selection or even during the faculty level festival or university.
