Ghaziabad: The Ministry of Health plans to introduce the sub-center in all 50 primary health centers (PHCs) in Ghaziabad.
Facilities, which will appear under the National Health Mission, will accommodate the Pregnant Ward, Vaccination and First Aid Center.
“The aim is to provide the basic door care for the district rural population,” said a health official.
He added that Rs 12 Lakh will be needed for each center and will be funded by the government under the provisions of the National Rural Health Mission.
The official said the department would try renting a room close to PHC.
“If it’s not possible, we can add some rooms in the PHC itself,” he added.
Singheshwar Tyagi, a resident of Sihani Village, said, “Except for the treatment of small diseases, the PHC does not serve other purposes.
We ultimately must depend on the government or private hospital.
But if the PHC is equipped with the way they provide better health care, it is It will save a lot of discomfort.
“Tyagi added that the proposed maternity environment in PHC could be” boon “for pregnant women in rural villages.
“They need a thorough examination from time to time.
Go to a complicated government hospital when visiting a person who is expensive,” he said.
