LUCKNOW: Pupils in final year of varied undergraduate and postgraduate classes in UP universities will be evaluated through an assessment before they get their degrees.
Students in 2nd year who didn’t take examinations last year may even take the examination.
Both private and state universities might need to run the OMR-based test that is composed of multiple-choice inquiries, until August 13.
All outcomes should be issued by August 31, stated the authorities in its final draft promoting students in light of this Covid-19 situation.
The draft (a replica of which can be with TOI) was prepared from the authorities on the recommendations of this three-member committee staged to determine the methods of encouraging pupils.

For universities at which both the UG and PG courses are conducted under the yearly strategy, the committee has chosen to market all first-year pupils to next year.
The first-year outcomes of such pupils will be ready on their operation in second-year assessments if they choose them.
Faculties which ran examinations for school-age pupils in 2020 will prepare second-year outcomes of these pupils according to their own performance in first year.
Afterward, students will be encouraged to third calendar year.
Nevertheless, in universities that could not conduct examinations for initial year at 2020, pupils might need to look for examinations in 2nd year during the OMR-based exam.
According to their performance from the examination, they’ll be declared in third season.
Under term program, for second-semester pupils who did not take their exams, all colleges will prepare consequences on the basis of the performance in the very first semester examinations.
The identical formula will be implemented to all of UG and PG students that are in strange semesters.
“The committee had a difficult time inventing measures for pupils, especially those in 2nd year.
Last yearthey had been encouraged without tests, and promoting them to last year without even being appraised could be unjust,” said an official.
