Bengaluru: All students who emerged for the Ten Grade Test conducted by the Karnataka secondary education council passed, the Minister of Premier and Secondary Education B C Nagesh said on Monday.
A total of 8,71,443 students took the exam and they all graduated except a girl who did not appear, said Minister.
Safe! You have managed to throw your votelogin to see the percentage of this year’s percentage of 99.99 percent compared to 71.80 years ago, he added.
The exam done under the shadow of Covid-19 on July 19 and 22 was held on ‘OMR Sheet’ unlike traditional ways of test writing on the answer sheet.
The first paper on July 19 is a combination of mathematical core subjects, science and social studies – in three hours while the second paper on July 22 is related to language like Kannada, England or Sanskrit.
Nagesh told reporters that 157 students scored 625 of 625, while 289 students got 623, and two students scored 622.
Last year only six students received a score of 625 from 625, while 11 got 624 and 43 got 623, the minister explained.
According to the minister, 1,28,931 students (16.52 percent) students get a value + value between 90 percent 100 percent; 2,50,317 students (32.07 percent) scored a value by obtaining 80 percent to 89 percent.
He added that 2,87,684 students got a value of B and 1,13,610 got the value of C.
Among those who emerged for the exam were 126 personal candidates, which were above 50 years while 287 were between 46 to 50 years.
The Karnataka government decided to hold an SSLC examination unlike other countries and the central council, because it was considered important for the selection of student flow.
However, the government has explained that it will not disappoint anyone because the exam is held in abnormal conditions when the regular class is not held and most students attend online classes due to restrictions related to Covid-19.
Complicated settings made this time to ensure that no child has a Covid-19 infection.
Double-doubled exam centers and transportation students are arranged by the government.
