Thiruvananthapuram: Minister of Education Kerala V Sivankutty on Monday said that all students in the state that get added value in all subjects in grade 10 will get seats in their chosen courses because the government will increase seats by 10 to 20 percent and start additional batches in Various districts and negligence countries.
The minister said additional seats or batches would be based on the number of requests received from each area.
He answered questions, put to him during the clock to dessert, on whether the government had a plan to ensure students who secured added value in all the subjects they wanted.
Requests come in the background of complaints from students and parents that those who have a value added score in all subjects also find it difficult to get their choice in a plus one (class 11).

Sivankutty said that around 1.2 lakh students who got added value in all subjects, only about 5,800 left which did not get their choice even after the second additional allotment that got longer last week.
He assured that all the students would get their choice of courses.
Opposition leader in the Assembly, V D Sathean, said that before issuing a second complementary list, the government must first make school transfers and the combination of course combinations.
However, issuing the previous additional list which resulted in thousands of full students who entered the course they did not want only so they were not inferior to the chair.
Sivankutty said the government would ensure that all students with full plus will get entrance tickets in their choice.
He also said that at this time, the marginal increase in the chair was held in Palakkad, Kozhikode, Malappuram, Kannur, Wayanad and Kasaragod District District.
