Lucknow: Lucknow bench from the High Court of Allahabad on Thursday directing Hindustan Bajaj Sugar Limited to clear contributions from sugar cane farmers from five factories located in Gola Gokaran Nath, Khambhar Khera, Palia Kalan, and Maqsoodapur on March 31, 2022, with 15 % flower.
It asked the company that if the contribution was not cleaned, the Sugar cane commissioner would continue to issue a recovery certificate.
The bench of the justice division of Rajan Roy and Justice S Kupta passed the order.
The bench was observed, “given the totality of the situation, especially the interests of farmers, so that the sugar factory can continue to run and on the other hand, the farmers may be able to sell their plants for it and reap the benefits, all directions for coercional steps to the company for recovery Contributions in the current scenario at this stage will not serve the interests of the Petitioner.
