New Delhi: A man, perhaps in the mid-20s, was destroyed to death by a group of people’s suspicions in the Industrial Area of Narela Outer Delhi on Thursday.
Until Friday night, the police had identified two suspects involved in the murder and detained them.
Efforts to identify and capture others are involved.
The deceased has not been identified.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m.
The police got a call around 9 o’clock in the morning that a man was arrested by a crowd for allegedly stealing something and was being driven on i-block, dsiidc, narella.
A police team rushed to the place and found the man lying unconscious with injury to his body.
The crowd had spread at that time.
The injured man rushed to Satyawadi Harish Chandra Hospital in Narela where he gave up on his injury during treatment.
The body is maintained for postmortem examination.
The crime and forensic team then goes to a place for detailed inspections.
DCP (North-North) Rajiv Ranjan Singh said the man did not have a document about him to help the police ensure his identity.
“The case has been registered in the right IPC section.
During a preliminary investigation, we managed to identify two men who were part of the horde who were allegedly struggling victims.
Both were detained and questionable.
Actual efforts to identify other people involved in crime,” he added .
The police check CCTV footage from the area to ensure the sequence of events.
This was also checked if the allegations of theft against the victims were correct.
Information about the deceased has been shared with the nearest police station to track his family or anyone who is known to him.
