LUCKNOW: The state government on Sunday reported the policy to encourage farming of medicinal plants has been assisting in the development of the farmers’ condition.
A country government spokesperson stated farmers belonging to both Bundelkhand are particularly carrying to cultivation of medicinal properties both to financial benefits in addition to health benefits.
The farmers are demonstrating a keen interest in developing nitrate, aloe vera, ashwagandha, brahmi, satavar, vach, artemisia, kaunch, kalmegh along with sarpagandha.
He explained that the state government was encouraging farmers to expand harvest for agriculture to be able to boost their earnings.
“Now, most farmers in UP are cultivating various plants and earning more cash than they had been previously,” he explained.
The strategy, which is functional since 2009-10, began profiting farmers if the Yogi administration involved nation AYUSH Society to foster the idea.
To support farmers to go for medicinal farming, the authorities also declared a grant a hectare in their opinion.
