Allottes with empty plots likely to get extensions

Noida: Allottee land that has an empty plot in Noida can be offered relaxation because of the ongoing pandemic.
Noida authorities will await the state government’s decision at their request to provide extra time.
On July 28 last year, the Government Department of the Uttar Pradesh government had come out with orders, which authorized the authority to the local industry development authority to take over the plot that had been allocated five years ago but still empty.
During the survey, the 900 plots were identified in Noida in various locations offered for the construction of houses, industries, institutions, commercial structures, or farmers.
Individuals are given a year deadline to complete construction work and time has passed, increasing anxiety among people.
While the authority has offered relaxation to farmers who were awarded the plot under the 5% scheme, others appealed to give them an additional extension.
In accordance with government orders, industrial authorities can cancel the lease deed of the person and can take the plot back to their ownership.
However, before taking the final step, the authority has been seeking approval from the government to offer more time for such people because of the difficulties they face in the past year.
Officers about special assignments and responsible for the land department in authority, Jyotsna Yadav said, “We have told senior officials about this issue and have asked them to consider allottes’ demands.
The government will make a final decision.
Farmers have been offered assistance but the fate of other categories will be decided by the government.
