New Delhi: The Supreme Court has asked the center to allow prospective women to appear in the NDA entrance exam in November this year, instead of delaying their induction with the year requested by the government.
The Apex Court said it was unable to empty the temporary commandment to allow prospective women to take the NDA entrance exam this year.
The court added that the armed forces were the best response team to handle any emergency and that expectations that the necessary arrangements would be applied to open the way for women’s induction in NDA.
The Supreme Court also said that he understood “the difficulty of placing a place infrastructure to register prospective women but the process cannot be delayed because it will not send a good signal”.
The Uni Ministry of Defense on Tuesday told the Supreme Court that notice to enable women to sit for an examination will be issued next year in May.
Last month, in a temporary order, the court has said that women will be allowed to appear for the NDA scheduled before for September 5 but rescheduled for November 24.
