Patna: The government may have provided a green light to a beauty salon to function on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but the owner has mixed feelings because they usually witness higher footsteps on weekends.
Mukesh Kumar, a popular salon chain manager in Fraser Road, told this newspaper, “Many customers visit us on Saturdays and Sundays.
The footsteps are quite low on weekdays when we have been told to operate.” Chitra Kumari, who manages the salon and The spa center in Kankarbagh, urged the government to allow beauty homes to function every day.
He also promised to take a religious Covid safety protocol.
“All my employees, who have been fully vaccinated, cleanses each equipment after use and gives a disposable mask customers.
Now, if my salon is not permitted to function on all days, I will be forced to turn it off,” Chitra Rued.
The owner of another salon, Rajesh Kumar, welcomed the customer’s decision not to visit the beauty parror and a tiring spa of Covid security measures.
He claimed, “Everyone wants to be safe.
Therefore we maintain physical distance and cleanse the salon regularly.” Meanwhile, the customer, who has been waiting for the salon to be reopened, has sighed relieved.
Ayush Taneja, a teacher and resident of Bakarganj, said, “I am quite excited to visit my favorite salon after a long time.
I will, however, make sure that I take all the precautions needed because health is far more important than appearance.”
