Thiruvananthapuram: The country witnessed 6,996 a positive case of 66,702 samples tested in the last 24 hours.
Among new cases detected, 5,953 people have taken vaccinations, 2,083 has taken doses, and 2,112 people have not taken a single dose.
The current total active case is 1.01.419, where 10.8% of people are accepted both in hospitals or other care centers.
Meanwhile, 84 Covid deaths were reported, taking victims in the state to 26,342.
At the same time, 16,576 patients had recovered from this disease.
Among new cases, 6,588 cases have been infected through local transmission.

Ernakulam reported the highest number of cases with 1,058, followed by Thiruvananthapuram (1,010) and cozhikode (749).
