Although 144 coal mines & 7 plants, the power crisis changes badly to be worse at Jharkhand

Ranchi: Even though there is a presence of more than 144 operational coal mines producing 130 million tons of minerals, seven functional thermal power plants vomit tons of toxic gases and electricity supply licensing companies, Jharkhand has faced the beginning of the crisis since the beginning of 21 years ago.
It owes Rs 2,190 Crore to a central power producing giant.
They have not only threatened to take the power supply, but one of them – The Damodar Valley Corporation (DVC) – has begun to drop it in seven districts under the command area pushing them to a long time of blackouts.
The state has failed to add even a kilowatt capacity of power plants in the past 21 years, although one of the functional units – Patrate Thermal Power Plants with 840MW installed capacity, and PSU center, Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC), entrusted to come with new plants called Patratu Vidyut Utpadan Nigam is limited under the pact with the state government.
According to the record of the Central Electricity Authority of the installed capacity of countries – Jharkhand has a total installed capacity of 4556.42MW on November 30, 2021.
This capacity, the Lion 4250MW section comes from thermal sources, while small fragments of around 300MW come from non-thermal sources consisting of 130MW Hydel Factory from the country, 80MW Hydro Power of the Center and 96.42MW from solar power.
Depending on the thermal power-power-jharkhand produces around 190-200MW power from the only tenugyut unit of Nigam Limited Vidyut (TVNL), which has a 420MW installed capacity.
One TVNL unit has lied for years.
In terms of installed capacity, the state gets 2000 MW of thermal power plants from the central sector and 1830mW from the private sector.
Seven hot power plants – Bokaro, Chandrapura and the coderma of the Central PSU, Tata, Sericala and Maiton of the Private and Lalpania Sector State Government – collectively cannot meet the requirements of the 2100MW busy clock from the country.
Officials at the Department of Energy did not want to comment on the situation, by saying that efforts were being carried out to increase power plants in the state.
According to the Department of Energy – three large power plants will appear and they will resolve the crisis.
According to the Government’s records, Karanpura North Thermal Power Plant NTPC in the Chatra District Text Block all will fire the first unit on March 31, 2022.
The capacity of 3x660mw Ultra Mega Power projects are running behind a schedule of about seven years.
Joint venture of NTPC and Jharkhand Bidyut Vitara Nigam Limited (JBVNL), Pvunl, proposed to become a 4000MW Super Critical Thermal Power Plant should function in 2022.
But even the first 3x800MWS unit will not be fired before 2024.
Private sector companies from Adani Power are preparing The thermal power plant is 1600MW at Godda, but the resulting power will be sent to Bangladesh, finally not adding anything to local needs.
Parliamentarians from the country hold the center responsible for the crisis.
Jharia Mla Purnima Niraj Singh believes that the PSU center harasses Jharkhand for political reasons.
“During the previous BJP government, DVC contributions circulating has reached Rs 5,000 Crore and there is still no power outage Energy, but DVC points to strength, “he added.
Singh blamed political instability in the state because of his failure to add even one unit of power production capacity in the last 21 years.
“We must be independent in terms of power, if it won’t be difficult for the country to take industrialization,” he added.
However, Mithilesh Dangi activists, however, believe that coal mining and thermal plants have never been for the kindness of the local community.
“To produce one MW thermal electricity, we burn 12 tons of coal and today the Jharkhand situation is seen by everyone.
We have mines in 11 districts and lakh people who are transferred because of mines, dams and power plants.
On the one hand, the country staggered – Supplying from a power crisis.
On the other hand, the locals who were moved were forced to breathe toxic gases from thermal plants, “he added.
