Chandigarh: Former Punjab Head Minister Amarinder Singh will lead a non-political delegation of agricultural experts to meet the Bukati Ministers Uni to discuss possible solutions for the agitation of farmers who are ongoing on Thursday.
Revealed this in Chandigarh on Wednesday, Amarinder Singh, who announced to float new political parties by sharing seats with parties, including BJP, said he had discussed a variety of choices with Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah, who he would meet in Delhi again Thursday , and others.
“I think I can help in finding a solution because I have become a Punjab minister and I am also a farmer,” Amarinder Singh told a press conference.
Although there is no formula that has been decided for the resolution of the stir farmers, something will appear during the talks because both sides – the central government and farmers – want a resolution to the crisis triggered by agricultural law, he said.
Explained that he had not met with the leaders of farmers, the former main minister said he deliberately did not disturb this problem because farmers did not want politicians to be involved.
The leaders of farmers have four meetings that are not convincing with the center but the re-channel talks have occurred, he added.
Amarinder Singh previously said the chair arrangement that he made with Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would submit to the resolution of farmers’ problems in their interests.
